Week 12 Waiver Adds Under (50%) Owned

Week 12 bye week teams, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, and New York Jets.

1. Bo Nix, DEN, QB (49%) - Just making the cut is Bo Nix, I wrote about him a few weeks back because he was really starting to take a foot hold in the Sean Payton offense. He really has a grasp on the offense often audibling and checking into the right plays. He also really takes what's given to him, and has been eeking out decent fantasy lines, even against good defenses. He's worth a start depending on your QB situation.

2. Quentin Johnston, LAR, WR, (41%) - Quentin makes another appearance on the waiver article , Quentin seems to be a guaranteed touchdown every game. His targets are pretty scary because he's basically getting 1-3 targets a game, but turning that into a touchdown. I've personally had to flex him with my injury and bye weeks and feel comfortable doing that. He is in line for some soft matchups going forward and might be worth a look if you're hurting at the WR position. Ladd McConkey seems to be the Wr1 there, but he's been removed for a few snaps due to injury the last few games as well. Any injury to Ladd would instantly sky rocket Johnston's fantasy value.

3. Trey Benson, ARI, RB, (22%) - Championship season is almost here and it's time to start thinking about what could happen and insulating our rosters to make a push. If you have some extra roster spots or some guys worth dropping Trey Benson is one of the best possible handcuffs to have right now. They are cooking up plays for him currently and getting him involved despite James Conner getting the bulk of the workload, and still, Benson manages to post serviceable fantasy lines. Imagine if some unfortunate injury were to hit Conner, Benson might be automatically in a RB1 conversation. If you have Conner on your roster you almost have to have Benson just to cover your bases.

4. Christian Watson, GB, WR, (45%) - Watson went bonkers for 150 yards on just 4 targets. Being able to choose which wideout is going to have a good game is about as random as closing your eyes and throwing a dart at a dart board. Watson and the Packers have 2 tough matchups against San Francisco, and Miami. The score in those games could be high scoring which lends itself to wideouts. Watson is undoubtedly a deep threat not really a elite route runner, but that is worth a flex in the right matchups.

5. Anthony Richardson, IND, QB (48%) - The Colts offense has been a bit of a shit show recently with a QB carousel of Richardson to Flacco, and then back to Richardson. And boy did he respond. He laid the smack down on a half decent Patriots defense. Scoring 2 rushing touchdowns, and tossing another. The head coach was the originator of the Philly "tush push" and went on the record saying he wanted to create situations to get Richardson lined up on the outside against a safety 1 on 1. Richardson weights about 240lbs, 40/50lbs higher than the average NFL safety. If he can get to the end zone with some regularity he will have a decent fantasy floor, and he's still out there on a majority of people's waivers.
