1. Scottie Barnes SF,PF,PG, TOR- Scottie is the biggest benefactor of Pascal Siakam getting traded. There is a slight caveat, that being, Barnes is going to have more focus on him without Siakam there taking absolutely munching minutes every night. The quality of Toronto's roster has drastically went down, so Scottie is going to see less open looks. The hope is that they allow Scottie to be the point guard, which they have been teasing even before Siakam was moved. I see Scottie seeing more periphial stats, and higher defensive numbers just by being on the court more, and more of a reliance on his defensive progress. With a possible slight drop in points per game.
2. Miles Bridges, SF/PF, CHA- Miles is intriguing for a number of reasons. Firstly, he is on an expiring deal so he himself is a potential trade candidate. Secondly, Terry Rozier was just moved to the Miami Heat for Kyle Lowry and a pick, this really opens up Miles to be bonafide #2 on Charlotte if he were to remain there. Lamelo is a very good facilitator and can really give Miles some grade A chances. Miles defensive numbers could really improve, but I feel his offensive numbers might slightly increase if he remains on Charlotte, and more will be revealed if he ends up getting moved.
3. Coby White, PG/SG, CHI- Coby had a little bit of a wild streak when LaVine was out, and the Bulls managed to pluck out a few wins. Coby has worked his way into a starting lineup coming off the bench for a majority of his career and scoring in bunches. He is more of a complete player now either shooting, or getting into the lane and finding an open shooter, or pick and pops.
4. Speaking of Zach LaVine, he is being shut down to find a trade partner. While being much maligned s majority of his career, he is undoubtedly been a big scorer, DeRozans' arrival really slowed down and did not flow well with LaVine. If LaVine finds himself in an offense more suitable for his talents his value will sky rocket. He is a buy low target right now because owners are probably frustrated this year.
