Fantasy Terms (NFL)

PPR- Points per reception, usually .5(half) or 1. Running backs that can catch the ball are priority.


FAAB- Free Agent Acquisition Budget.

Sleeper. A who is not widely known, but might be very valuable often drafted at the end of drafts.


Handcuff- 2 players (normally running backs) onthe same team, both normally good. Drafted together so if one gets injured you have the replacement.


IDP- Individual defensive players

Boom/Bust- a player who either will have a large score or 0, often a risky play.


IR- Injured Reserve


SUSP- Suspension


Floor- Often used in "high floor" which means the average points the player scores is high, or "low floor" in which the player average points are low.


Ceiling- opposite of floor (obviously) used as the top of a players projected points.
